DEEP DIVE INTO DEVELOPMENT MILESTONES

"6 MONTHS & 3 ROUNDS OF DEVELOPMENT TO GET ONLY THE FABRIC RIGHT"

From Idea to Outcome: The Problems, Tradeoffs, and Final Result

Oct 25' - Nov 25' - Competitor Analysis

PURCHASE,WEAR SAMPLES & NOTE COMMENTS
"Zara" - Heavyweight T-Shirt
Fabric has good weight. Spandex unravels easily. Sizing = good

"Marco Polo" - Heavyweight T-Shirt
Fabric turns rough after washing 10x. Ribbed collar is interesting

"Uniqlo "- Airism Oversized T-Shirt
Fabric includes polyester on the skin side = Not for the winter season

"COS" - Mock Neck Heavy T-Shirt
Fabric fades after 10 washes. Ribbed mock neck looks overly formal

"ICON" Amsterdam - Heavy Weight T-Shirt
Fabric deforms & fades after washing 5x. Sizing = too informal

CONCLUSION

- Fabric fading prematurely = major issue

- No fabric weartested has truly exceptional softness = potential point of differentiation

- Seams become sloppy after 2 dozen washes = problem to solve

NEXT STEPS
- Start Fabric Development Trial 1
- Start techpack creation
- Decide on garment manufacturing partner

Nov 25' - Jan 25' - Fabric Trial & Garment Trial I

COMMERCIAL REQUIREMENTS/NOTES

NEXT STEPS
- Can we make the black color even blacker
- Seams are still an issue after dozen washes start to fade

Nov 25' - Jan 25' - Fabric Trial & Garment Trial III

COMMERCIAL REQUIREMENTS/NOTES
- Fabric must be "Super Black"
